Goodness me, these are far too easy to write. I'll be doing a post a day before I know it!

I am thinking about......

Islamic views on Mary. I find it fascinating how revered and respected Mary is in Islam- she's mentioned more times in the Qu'ran than in the entire New Testament. I think it's fair to say that Mary is more beloved in Islam than in many Protestant churches!

Learning all the time.......

Watched an interesting documentary the other night about the science behind winter. Absolutely fascinating! Do you know why ice is slippery? (okay, if you're Charlotte, Victoria, Danielle or Jessie you probably do....)

Attempting to wrap my head around economics for the sake of history. We're learning about the causes of the Great Depression and I'm hopelessly pathetic when it comes to money matters. 

On my nightstand......

• The Bible. :-)
• A kitchen design book (we're remodelling our kitchen!)
• Emma (still)
• Practice of the Presence of God- I haven't started it yet, but I'm anxious to. It sounds quite hardcore. (I really can't pull of saying 'hardcore', can I?)

I am creating......

A plan for the holidays. It seems I'm always far better at scheduling, planning and making pretty charts than in actually executing what needs to be done. Please pray for me. :-)

• The Divine Mercy Chaplet. As I was going to sleep last night I felt the overwhelming urge to look up St Faustina and pray the chaplet. It's such a beautiful prayer. I'm now wondering why God wants me to focus especially on Divine Mercy. hmmmmmm.......
• For a good work ethic and willingness to focus.
• That Katrina and Katie will appear randomly at school tomorrow to surprise us. :-)

Plans for the rest of the week......

Off to a 'Young Friends of the Theatre' meeting as the Aquinas representative tonight. Possibly coming down with another cold. ugh. I've had my share of illness for the year. This is (hopefully not) going to be my third cold of the winter (including one that lasted 19 days). Praying for health.
